Alkitronic-cardos, the central control unit of the MDS-system,
is analysing, monitoring and controlling the specific bolt
tightening process. The manually entered and electronically
monitored parameter settings are computer controlled, logically
proven and displayed on an LCD-display.
According to the classification a variety of different measurements
and monitoring methods can be chosen. Initial pretension
is achieved by controlled torque or by a combination of
torque and angle.
Loosening of the sensor-tool can be done manually or automatically.
Actual values and required values can be printed out on
a standard printer using the Centronics-Interface via the
parallel port.
Depending on the model, alkitronic®-cardos is able
to control up to four different Alkitronic® sensor tools,
either stationary or on site. The sensor tools can be directly
connected to the unit. A bar-code reader for the input of
the tool parameters is available as an option.
The base model will accommodate one sensor torque tool
(1-channel). Advantages:
