In order to maintain maximum performance and
lifetime of the pneumatic torque wrench the
compressed air needs to be lubricated.
The torque of the pneumatic torque wrench is
regulated by the regulator. An air pressure
of 2 - 7 bar with an air volume of approx. 10-15
litres/second ensures optimal operating conditions.
The torque accuracy depends on the stability
of the air supply!
A four stage Torque selection is built into tool and allows a rough pre-selection of the torque or a quick change over for a number of various torques to be tightened.
The fine adjustment of the torque is controlled by the
air pressure and controlled by the air regulator
of the air maintenance unit. For loosening
bolts a reserve of approx. 20 % has to be added
to the max. torque.
